Location: Oxnard, California

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Sunday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8-hour shifts with weekend and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver personalized occupational therapy services to diverse patient populations across inpatient and outpatient settings
Evaluate and treat patients with conditions ranging from orthopedic injuries to neurological disorders and complex medical needs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive rehabilitation plans
Provide specialized care including swallow studies when working with speech therapy patients
Support patients through recovery journeys in rehab, sub-acute, and outpatient environments

Qualifications

Active Occupational Therapist license in California
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
Cerner EMR experience preferred
Strong assessment and treatment planning skills

Knowledge & Skills

Experience with spinal cord injuries, stroke recovery, and brain injury rehabilitation
Comfort working with orthopedic, neuro, pediatric, and bariatric patient populations
Ability to provide care in both inpatient rehab and outpatient clinic settings
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
