Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers and their newborns
Monitor and titrate critical medications like Magnesium and Oxytocin during labor
Support mom-baby couplets with expert postpartum and neonatal care
Circulate during C-sections to ensure the safest arrival for every baby
Collaborate with a tight-knit rural care team where your clinical judgment truly matters
Float to medical-surgical or emergency departments when extra hands are needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Comfortable working independently in a rural setting with limited NICU access

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of AWHONN staffing guidelines
Experience with OB Trace Vue fetal monitoring system
Skilled in neonatal respiratory support including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow
Ability to manage antepartum and postpartum medication drips
Excellent communication and teamwork in a small, provider-consistent unit
