Location: Lakewood, Colorado

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable start times between 7:30 AM - 11:00 AM, primarily covering 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, with on-call requirements

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery care to post-surgical patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond quickly to any changes in patient condition
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the care team to ensure smooth recoveries
Support patients through their most vulnerable moments after surgery
Float to surgery center as needed to keep things running smoothly

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
Previous ED or ICU experience strongly preferred
Epic EMR experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

PACU nursing expertise with strong assessment skills
Comfort managing ortho, trauma, cardiac, urology, pulmonary, and GI cases
Ability to read cardiac strips and respond to emergencies
Experience recovering ICU patients in the PACU setting
