Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Start Date: 05-30-2026

End Date: 08-29-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start, 8-hour or 10-hour shifts with one weeknight call until 7:00 AM next morning and three 24-hour weekend call shifts per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub independently for cranial procedures and neuro-trauma cases
Assist with total joint replacements and orthopedic trauma surgeries
Prepare and maintain sterile fields across a variety of specialties including urology, ENT, and general OR cases
Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia teams to ensure smooth case flow
Uphold strict infection-control standards including the facility's no-artificial-nails policy
Respond promptly to 15-minute call requirements while maintaining high-quality patient care

Qualifications

Current CST certification preferred but not required
BLS certification required
Proven experience scrubbing orthopedic trauma and total joint procedures
Ability to independently perform cranial procedures
Comfortable working in a Level II trauma setting
Strong work ethic and willingness to speak up for patient safety

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in neuro-trauma and cranial procedures
Proficiency with DaVinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis systems
Solid general OR experience across multiple specialties
Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records
Ability to hustle in a fast-paced environment while staying positive
