Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult and pediatric patients over 15 years old in a fast-paced ICU environment
Titrate critical drips including vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics to support patient stability
Monitor and interpret telemetry using Draeger heart monitoring systems while responding to rapid response and code situations
Collaborate with attending physicians, fellows, and residents to deliver exceptional, team-based patient care
Float to various inpatient units (excluding Maternity/NICU) to support hospital-wide needs and build versatile skills
Manage advanced equipment and procedures including vents, CRRT, Impella, balloon pumps, ICP monitoring, and hypothermia protocols

Qualifications

Active RN license with 2 years of recent ICU experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Valid driver's license for radius verification at time of submittal
Ability to pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation
Willingness to adhere to artificial nail policy in patient care areas

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making abilities
Comfort with advanced monitoring and life-support equipment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
Positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues in a high-volume setting
Flexibility to float across inpatient units and adapt to changing patient needs
