Location: Omaha, Nebraska

End Date: 08-29-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, team scheduling with weekend requirements every third day shift and every other night shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive respiratory care across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
Manage ventilators and respiratory equipment including Drager, Servo I, and Carefusion systems
Perform EKGs, bedside bronchoscopies, and bedside spirometry procedures
Deliver high-flow therapy, BiPAP, and CPAP treatments throughout the facility
Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and nursing teams for optimal patient outcomes
Float to different hospital areas while maintaining RT expertise and adaptability

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
NRP and PALS preferred
Recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience required
Valid driver's license for radius verification
Ability to work 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management across multiple equipment platforms
Strong time management and adaptability skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to learn and grow professionally
Experience with neonates through geriatric patient populations
