Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating day and night shifts, self-scheduling with balanced schedule provided to manager, 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule, rotating holidays, call requirement based on census

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum mothers
Monitor fetal heart rates and interpret EFM strips with confidence
Titrate critical drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin, and D10
Support families through high-risk pregnancies including diabetes and substance use
Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe deliveries and healthy outcomes
Float within Zone 1 when needed to support sister facilities

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact nursing license
ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM, and STABLE certifications required
LDRP experience strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips independently
Willingness to take call and work rotating weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fetal monitoring interpretation skills
Experience with high-BMI and high-risk obstetric patients
Comfortable titrating multiple IV drips simultaneously
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptable to floating within the facility zone when needed
