Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a rural LDRP setting
Perform triage assessments and serve as the baby catcher/transition nurse
Titrate Pitocin drips safely and effectively
Collaborate with on-call providers to ensure safe deliveries
Support postpartum mothers and newborns with education and hands-on care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ALS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM certifications required
Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
Trained in LDRP and comfortable functioning independently

Knowledge & Skills

Strong triage and fetal monitoring skills
Ability to manage laboring patients and newborn transitions
Comfortable working in a small, rural hospital environment
Flexible and team-oriented approach to patient care
