Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care to high-risk laboring and delivery patients with confidence and independence
Perform vaginal exams and internal monitor placement for accurate patient assessment
Circulate and recover C-section patients while ensuring optimal outcomes
Monitor fetal heart rates and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition
Administer and titrate critical drips including Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Float to postpartum and other units as needed to support the broader care team
Collaborate with in-house OB/Neonatologists and Anesthesia available 24/7

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nevada or compact license
BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP certifications required
Strong experience with high-risk laboring and antepartum patients
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitor strips independently
Comfortable floating to postpartum and other units as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Vaginal exam and internal monitor placement
High-risk laboring and delivery patient care
Antepartum patient management
C-section circulation and recovery
Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Titration of Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Cerner electronic medical record system
