Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert respiratory care across neonatal to geriatric populations
Support patients in Level II trauma, NICU, ICU, surgical, medical, and cardiac units
Operate advanced equipment including PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, and Airvo systems
Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding care
Make independent clinical judgments that directly impact patient outcomes
Cover all areas throughout the facility, ensuring seamless respiratory support wherever needed

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Active North Dakota state respiratory therapy license
Proven NICU experience essential
Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong foundation in neonatal, pediatric, and adult respiratory care
Hands-on experience with ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow systems
Comfort working across inpatient, ER, and specialty units
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Adaptability to rotating weekends and holidays
