Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in condition
Support nursing team with patient transfers and safe handling
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and team members
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification valid in Pennsylvania
Demonstrated ability to provide respectful, patient-centered care
Basic CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working as part of a healthcare team and following care plans
Background check and health screenings per facility policy

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Practical knowledge of patient hygiene, ADLs, and safe transfer techniques
Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and reliable documentation habits
Compassion, patience, and a calm approach under pressure
