Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and create a positive, comforting experience
Take and document vitals, patient history, and chief concerns accurately
Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during patient exams
Maintain clear, timely charting in the electronic health record
Coordinate patient flow, appointments, and basic administrative tasks
Support patient education by reinforcing care instructions and next steps

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience
Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain during orientation)
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Ability to work reliably for scheduled 4-hour shifts

Education

High school diploma or GED required
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency taking vitals and performing basic clinical procedures
Familiarity with clinical workflows and patient intake processes
Comfortable with electronic health records and accurate documentation
Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy best practices
Team-oriented, organized, and good time management
