Location: Gettysburg, PA
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem schedule (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, evening shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assist patients with activities of daily living
- Support nursing staff by taking vital signs and reporting changes in condition
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
- Document patient interactions and care activities accurately and timely
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver patient-centered, respectful care
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with patients
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment and following care plans
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an approved CNA program required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and infection control practices
- Ability to assist with transfers, mobility, and safe patient handling
- Familiarity with charting and basic documentation
- Teamwork and a positive attitude when supporting interdisciplinary staff
- Attention to detail and reliable time management
