Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and provide compassionate, high-quality care to emergency department patients
• Execute nursing interventions, administer medications, and monitor patient status closely
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and the ED team to deliver timely, coordinated care
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately in the health record
• Participate in orientation and ongoing education to maintain competency in emergency care
• Support flow in a fast-paced environment while advocating for patient safety and dignity

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or eligibility for licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Prior emergency department experience preferred, with strong triage and critical thinking skills
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Emergency triage and rapid assessment skills
• IV therapy, medication administration, and basic emergency procedures
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Strong clinical judgment, prioritization, and multitasking abilities
• Calm, clear communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
