Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care and help patients with activities of daily living
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output and patient condition changes
- Assist nursing team with safe patient transfers, hygiene, and mobility support
- Communicate clearly with nurses and care team to escalate concerns promptly
- Maintain accurate charting and follow infection control and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts as scheduled
- Comfortable with direct patient care and physical tasks involved in bedside support
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient care fundamentals and ADL support
- Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
- Infection prevention and safe patient handling
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
- Team collaboration and following established care plans
