Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + Call evenings and weekends. On call one evening a week (3:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 2 Saturdays or Sundays a month (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate a wide variety of surgical cases including CABGs, craniotomies, and robotic procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and the perioperative team to ensure smooth, safe operations
Float between Bryan and College Station campuses to support wherever you're needed most
Precept new staff and share your expertise with the next generation of OR nurses
Respond to on-call cases within 30 minutes, including neuro and trauma emergencies

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas
Minimum 4 years of hospital OR experience, with 5 years strongly preferred
Proven robotics experience with both Mako and DaVinci systems
Ability to circulate CABGs, craniotomies, and a broad range of specialties
Strong references and a track record of reliability

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise circulating cardiovascular, neuro, ortho, and general surgery cases
Comfort with DaVinci and Mako robotic platforms
Ability to handle trauma, total joints, and complex open procedures
Willingness to float between two nearby campuses
Dependable call response within 30 minutes
