Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert respiratory care across neonatal to geriatric patients in a Level II trauma center
Deliver specialized NICU respiratory support and critical care interventions
Manage ventilators and advanced respiratory equipment including Airvo, PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, and V-60
Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Exercise independent clinical judgment while covering inpatient, ER, ICU, surgical, and medical units

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential required
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Active North Dakota state respiratory therapy license
Proven NICU experience essential
Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions

Knowledge & Skills

Strong ventilator management across multiple platforms
Neonatal, pediatric, and adult respiratory care expertise
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Comfort working across all hospital departments
Independent clinical judgment and critical thinking
