Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
• Attend deliveries independently and circulate during C-sections with confidence
• Assist with catching babies and transitioning newborns to ensure safe, healthy starts
• Titrate critical drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin to support high-risk pregnancies
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with in-house OB/GYNs, neonatologists, and anesthesia teams for seamless care
• Support families through high-risk situations including preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance use challenges

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Washington or compact license
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
• Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience (1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments)
• Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating C-sections
• No first-time travelers

Knowledge & Skills

• LDRP nursing expertise with ability to handle 33+ week high-risk pregnancies
• Strong fetal monitoring interpretation skills
• Experience with magnesium, Pitocin, and insulin titration
• Ability to transition newborns and support low-risk deliveries
• Comfort working across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum units
• Excellent communication and adaptability to unit workflows
