Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers and their newborns
Monitor and titrate critical medications such as Magnesium and Oxytocin during labor
Support mom-baby couplets on the postpartum unit with education and recovery care
Collaborate with the surgical team during C-sections while advocating for the newborn
Float to medical-surgical or emergency departments when extra hands are needed
Deliver safe, high-quality neonatal care including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow support

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum two years of recent LDRP experience
Comfortable working independently in a rural setting with limited specialty resources

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of AWHONN staffing guidelines
Experience with OB Trace Vue fetal monitoring system
Ability to troubleshoot neonatal respiratory equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Adaptable to floating assignments and changing patient needs
