Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver personalized occupational therapy to patients recovering from stroke, spinal cord injuries, and orthopedic conditions
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create meaningful rehab plans that help patients regain independence
Conduct evaluations and implement evidence-based interventions across inpatient, rehab, and sub-acute settings
Support patients with complex needs including bariatrics, cardiac recovery, and general medical conditions
Mentor and guide rehab aides while fostering a positive, patient-centered environment

Qualifications

Active Occupational Therapist license in California
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an Occupational Therapist
Comfortable working weekends and rotating holidays alongside permanent staff

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and treatment planning skills across ortho, neuro, and medical populations
Experience with swallow studies preferred
Familiarity with Cerner EMR
Ability to adapt quickly between inpatient and outpatient environments
