Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a dynamic LDRP setting
Monitor fetal strips and interpret vital data to ensure the safest outcomes
Titrate critical drips such as Pitocin, magnesium, and insulin with precision
Float to Med-Surg and ER units when needed, showcasing adaptability and broad clinical skills
Collaborate with a supportive Charge Nurse and care team to deliver high-quality patient care
Follow AWHONN guidelines and quality metrics to maintain excellent standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred
Strong fetal monitoring and critical thinking skills
Previous travel experience is a plus
Ability to read and interpret fetal strips confidently

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Titration of drips including Pitocin, magnesium, and insulin
Critical thinking and adaptability
Meditech EMR experience
Philips telemetry monitors and Traceview/PIP EFM system
