Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care across multiple MS-Tele units including Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
Float within a 60-mile zone to support facilities like St. Catherine Garden City, Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital, and St. Catherine Dodge City
Monitor and titrate Heparin drips while caring for adult and geriatric patients with diverse diagnoses
Collaborate with designated charge nurses and nursing assistants to maintain safe 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratios
Respond to low-census call needs and maintain flexibility to fill scheduling gaps

Qualifications

Active RN license and 2 years of MS-Tele experience within the last 3 years
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Preferred experience in Neuro, Alaris pumps, and EPIC documentation
Willingness to float throughout Zone 4 facilities and adapt to varying patient acuities

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills for cardiac, neuro, and post-surgical patients
Comfort with tele monitoring, vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and reading cardiac strips
Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative float-pool environment
Flexibility to accept assignments 1-2 hours before shift start when needed
