Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a variety of patients including those with COVID, respiratory conditions, GI issues, diabetes, and post-surgical needs
Interpret telemetry strips and document findings at least once per shift
Collaborate with remote monitor techs and the interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Float to East Campus or PCU when qualified, expanding your clinical experience
Support patients through their recovery journey with skilled nursing interventions

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience reading basic telemetry strips
Some background with general, orthopedic, and spinal surgical patients preferred
Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record system recommended

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and strip reading
Care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
Managing patients with CVA, TIA, and post-operative needs
Working with equipment such as BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen
Adapting quickly to new units and floating assignments
