Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients
• Assess patient condition and promptly communicate changes to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, procedures, and discharge planning
• Contribute to a positive unit culture by mentoring peers and supporting teamwork

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license - ability to practice in New Hampshire required
• Clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and other specialty certifications a plus
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach
• Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and adapt to unit needs

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of medical-surgical nursing principles and safety practices
• Proficiency with medication administration, IV therapy, and patient monitoring
• Skilled in patient assessment, documentation, and care coordination
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and respond calmly in fast-paced situations
• Familiarity with electronic health records and standard clinical workflows
