Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, expert care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
Monitor fetal heart rates and respond swiftly to any changes to ensure safe deliveries
Circulate during C-sections and collaborate with the surgical team to support positive outcomes
Educate and support families through every stage of the birthing journey
Float between L&D, postpartum, and NICU units to deliver versatile, high-quality care where it's needed most

Qualifications

Active California RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Fetal monitoring certification (AWHONN intermediate or advanced)
Minimum 2-3 years of recent L&D/PP experience
Prior travel contract experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fetal monitoring interpretation and response skills
Comfortable circulating C-sections and supporting high-risk deliveries
Cerner EMR and FetalLink experience a plus
Excellent communication and teamwork in fast-paced environments
Ability to float between L&D, postpartum, and NICU as needed
