Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend (Days: Saturday-Sunday; Nights: Friday-Saturday), holidays rotate with permanent staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care to mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Attend deliveries independently and circulate during C-sections with confidence
Assist with catching and transitioning newborns while ensuring their safety and comfort
Titrate Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips to support optimal patient outcomes
Monitor fetal heart patterns and respond quickly to any changes
Collaborate with a friendly, feedback-focused leadership team dedicated to quality care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience; 1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments
Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating in C-sections

Knowledge & Skills

LDRP experience caring for patients 33 weeks and above
High-risk OB knowledge including Preeclampsia, Diabetic, and substance-use cases
Ability to function in both Labor & Delivery and Postpartum settings
Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills for mother-baby couplets
Familiarity with Centricity Perinatal EFM system a plus
