Location: Phoenix, Arizona

End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with start times at 6:30 AM, 3:00 PM, and 11:30 PM; 4 weekend shifts required in an 8-week period

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to neuro rehab patients recovering from TBI, stroke, and brain tumor resections
Partner closely with patients and families to support healing and recovery every step of the way
Administer IV therapy, manage wounds, and deliver acute MedSurg interventions with skill and empathy
Collaborate daily with an interdisciplinary team of therapists, physicians, and rehab specialists
Float to other MedSurg units as needed while maintaining excellence in every assignment

Qualifications

Active RN license with strong MedSurg experience required
BLS certification required
Rehab experience preferred
Comfortable with high-level communication and family involvement
Must pass dysrhythmia exam (2 attempts allowed) and complete SIMs Lab skills on day one

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner EMR proficiency
Neuro rehab patient care including TBI, CVA, and transplant recovery
Sterile field technique and central line dressing changes
Foley catheter insertion and wound care
Strong communication and patient education skills
