Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplants
Monitor and interpret EKGs using Philips equipment while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
Collaborate with a dedicated Charge Nurse and PCT team to maintain optimal 1:3-4 patient ratios
Float to sister telemetry units when needed, expanding your skill set across Neuro Tele and more
Complete required SIMs Lab training for Foley insertion and central line dressing changes
Support patients through non-titrating drips, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapies

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam with up to two attempts
Must demonstrate sterile technique during SIMs Lab skills check-off
Clean-shaven for men and natural hair color required for respirator fit testing

Knowledge & Skills

Strong EKG interpretation and cardiac rhythm recognition
Comfortable with Cerner EMR and bedside PCs
Skilled in CPAP, high-flow oxygen, and non-titrating medication drips
Team-oriented with excellent communication and floating flexibility
