Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, no set schedules

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor up to 60 patients remotely from a centralized command center using advanced cardiac monitoring technology
Accurately interpret cardiac rhythms and detect dangerous arrhythmias in real time
Promptly notify local RN staff of rhythm changes following established protocols
Document and report findings to support improved patient outcomes and department metrics
Collaborate with the care team under the direction of a Registered Nurse to ensure patient safety

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience demonstrating cardiac monitoring knowledge
Graduation from an accredited program that includes EKG Interpretation training
Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam (lethal rhythms are pass/fail with one attempt only)
Ability to work 2-3 day shifts for orientation if hired for night shift
Must commit to one assignment at a time with no concurrent jobs
