Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized, compassionate care to our tiniest patients in a Level III NICU
Monitor and manage ventilators and central lines with confidence and precision
Collaborate with OB/GYNs, Neonatologists, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists
Float to Mother-Baby or L&D units to support newborns and families during transition
Apply critical thinking and multi-tasking skills to deliver safe, high-quality care
Follow AWHONN/NANN guidelines to ensure optimal nurse-to-patient ratios

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and NRP certifications required
Minimum three years of NICU nursing experience
Strong critical thinking, communication, and independent work skills
Valid driver's license for radius verification at submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on experience with neonatal ventilators and central lines
Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team
Comfort floating between NICU, Mother-Baby, and L&D units
Understanding of AWHONN/NANN staffing guidelines
Professional appearance with natural nails only
