Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times between 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM and end times between 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM; occasional weekend coverage required with a compensatory day off during the week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy services across acute care units including MedSurg, Telemetry, ICU, Oncology, and Cardiology
Deliver specialized care for ventilated patients and post-surgical ortho and total joint cases
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized treatment plans
Support patients through their recovery journey in a fast-paced hospital setting
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR system

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Strong background in ortho, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patient care

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care physical therapy across multiple specialties
Experience with ventilated patients and ICU therapy
Proficiency with Cerner EMR documentation
Ability to adapt to varied patient populations including oncology and cardiology
Strong clinical decision-making and time management
