Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care consistent with LPN scope of practice
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
Monitor patient status, report changes to the care team, and escalate concerns
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
Maintain accurate electronic and paper clinical documentation
Assist with admissions, discharges, and safe patient transfers
Promote infection control, patient safety, and a respectful care environment

Qualifications

Valid LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license for the state of Georgia (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
Clinical experience in a hospital or similar acute care setting preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Ability to handle 12.5-hour shifts and maintain high standards of patient care

Education

Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Patient assessment and monitoring
Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
Basic wound care and IV/line awareness
Time management, prioritization, and teamwork under busy conditions
