Registered Nurse - L&D
Location: Pendleton, OR

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with trades allowed
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery care across all units
- Titrate Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate drips with confidence and precision
- Monitor fetal strips and maternal cardiac rhythms using centralized systems
- Stabilize newborns using vent support and bubble CPAP before transfer when needed
- Float as a helping hand to other units and jump between assignments as census changes
- Collaborate with the on-call OB team and house supervisor to keep moms and babies safe
Qualifications
- Active Oregon RN license or ability to obtain the 90-day emergency license
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Strong independent skills in L&D, Postpartum, Routine Nursery, and Intermediate Nursery
- Comfortable working with a minimum of two nurses on the unit at all times

- AWHONN-aligned patient ratios
- Central fetal monitoring and maternal telemetry interpretation
- Titration of induction and critical drips
- Quick adaptability between busy and slow census periods
- Team-first attitude when floating or covering as helping hands
