Registered Nurse - LDRP
Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling, every third weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers following AWHONN guidelines
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs using OB Trace Vue technology
- Administer and titrate critical medications including Magnesium and Oxytocin during labor
- Support mom-baby couplets through postpartum recovery and education
- Circulate during C-sections to ensure safe delivery for newborns
- Collaborate with providers and teammates in a close-knit rural hospital setting
- Respond to neonatal emergencies with NRP skills and assist with CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow support
- Float to medical-surgical or emergency departments when needed to provide extra hands-on care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Comfortable working independently in a rural facility with limited NICU access
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong fetal monitoring and EFM interpretation
- Experience with antepartum and postpartum drip management
- Neonatal resuscitation and newborn stabilization
- Excellent communication and teamwork in smaller care teams
- Ability to adapt quickly and problem-solve with limited resources
