Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery
Location: Grand Island, Nebraska

End Date: 09-21-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to laboring patients with 1:1 ratios
- Monitor and titrate critical drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, and Procardia
- Support mothers through antepartum, labor, delivery, and postpartum journeys
- Care for patients with pregnancy-related conditions including hypertension and diabetes
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow AWHONN guidelines
Qualifications
- Active RN license with minimum 3 years of labor and delivery experience
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Experience with titration of drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, and Procardia
- Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
- Must live outside the 50-mile radius from facility
- No current employment with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities
