Registered Nurse - Cath Lab/ICU Nurse Manager
Location: Garden City, KS
Start Date: 06-22-2026
End Date: 09-21-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM with 24/7 call coverage including weekends and holidays
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee both Cath Lab and ICU departments with passion and expertise
- Build a positive culture while enhancing nursing competency across teams
- Provide bedside procedure support and moderate sedation during cases
- Manage pre-procedure preparation and recovery for optimal patient outcomes
- Titrate critical drips and monitor complex cardiac and respiratory patients
- Float to support other departments when needed as a collaborative team player
- Read and interpret telemetry strips while mentoring staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Active RN license with 3 years of nursing experience required
- 1 year of management experience and 1 year of clinical leadership experience
- ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CRRT competency required
- Fluoro license preferred for technical staff
- Critical care and telemetry experience strongly valued

Knowledge & Skills
- Critical Care and Telemetry expertise
- Cath Lab procedures including Cardiac, Vascular, EP, and IR cases
- ICU experience with complex diagnoses like Sepsis, DKA, STEMI, and COPD exacerbation
- Titration of vasoactive drips and advanced monitoring skills
- Strong leadership in building team culture and competency
- Self-scheduling and flexible call coverage experience
