Candidate Pay Rate: $41 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and monitor patient condition to provide safe, effective care
Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans
Document patient care thoroughly in the electronic medical record
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments and follow-up
Respond promptly to patient needs and escalate changes in condition
Maintain infection control and patient safety standards at all times

Qualifications

Current, active Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred or as required by unit
Current CPR certification
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
Comfortable using electronic medical records and standard clinical equipment
Strong teamwork, communication and patient advocacy skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of patient assessment and clinical judgment
Medication administration and IV therapy familiarity
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
Effective verbal and written communication with patients and team members
Competence in documentation and charting within EMR systems
Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
