Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, patient-centered emergency nursing care in the ED
Assess and triage patients quickly and accurately to prioritize care
Administer medications and treatments safely and according to protocols
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes clearly and timely
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up plans

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in New Hampshire or appropriate compact licensure
Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred or encouraged
Previous emergency department or acute care experience preferred
Current CPR certification and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Triage principles and emergency assessment skills
IV therapy, medication administration, and wound care
Cardiac rhythm recognition and basic ECG interpretation
Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making under pressure
Clear communication with patients, families, and the care team
Ability to document effectively in electronic medical records
