Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Start Date: 05-30-2026

End Date: 08-29-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start, 8-hour or 10-hour shifts with one weeknight call until 7:00 AM the next morning and three 24-hour weekend call shifts per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub in for a variety of procedures including neuro-trauma, cranial, orthopedic trauma, and total joints
Independently assist with complex cranial cases and level II trauma surgeries
Prepare and maintain sterile fields while supporting surgeons in fast-paced operating rooms
Collaborate with a dynamic team using advanced robotics like DaVinci and Mako systems
Ensure patient safety by following strict protocols and speaking up when needed
Handle 18 cases per day across 11 suites with energy and precision

Qualifications

Current CST certification preferred with proven scrubbing experience
Strong background in orthopedic trauma, total joints, and general OR procedures
BLS certification required and ability to take independent neuro-trauma call
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a positive, can-do attitude
Willingness to be flexible and support the team wherever needed

Knowledge & Skills

Expert scrubbing skills in neuro, ortho trauma, and total joint procedures
Familiarity with DaVinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis systems
Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
Strong understanding of sterile technique and patient safety protocols
Ability to hustle and maintain composure during high-acuity cases
