Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, specialized care to our tiniest patients in a Level III NICU
Monitor and manage ventilators and central lines with confidence and precision
Collaborate with OB/GYNs, Neonatologists, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine experts
Float to Mother-Baby or L&D units to support newborns and families during transition
Follow AWHONN/NANN staffing guidelines to deliver safe, high-quality care
Serve as a safety advocate when floating to other units as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license and current BLS and NRP certifications
Minimum three years of NICU nursing experience
Strong critical thinking, communication, and multitasking abilities
Comfortable working independently with neonatal patients
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on experience with ventilators and central lines in the NICU setting
Ability to adapt quickly when floating between Mother-Baby, L&D, and NICU
Understanding of AWHONN/NANN staffing ratios and neonatal care guidelines
Professional appearance with natural nails only per facility policy
