Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM, with approximately 120 hours of call per contract in rotation with staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional perioperative care across a variety of surgical specialties including General, ENT, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures
Respond to trauma and neuro cases with confidence and precision
Serve as a reliable resource during call rotations, providing critical support when needed most
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic while ensuring seamless patient handoffs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS certification required
Proven experience in Trauma and Neuro within the operating room
Charge nurse experience preferred but not required
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume OR environment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of surgical procedures across multiple specialties
Ability to respond quickly and calmly during trauma cases
Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to float within Zone 1 facilities when needed
