Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, one-on-one care to laboring patients and newborns
Monitor and interpret fetal strips to ensure the safest outcomes
Titrate critical drips such as Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin with precision
Float to Med-Surg and ER units when needed, showcasing adaptability
Collaborate with a supportive Charge Nurse and dedicated CNA team
Follow AWHONN guidelines and quality metrics to deliver excellent care

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred
Strong fetal monitoring and critical-thinking skills
Previous travel experience is a plus
Ability to read and interpret fetal strips independently

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Critical thinking under pressure
Drip titration of Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin
Meditech EMR experience
Philips telemetry monitors and Traceview/PIP EFM system
Adaptability to float across units
