Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts 1-2 times per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert pre-operative and post-anesthesia care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
Monitor patients recovering from conscious sedation and general anesthesia with precision and compassion
Assist with a wide range of body IR cases including chemoembolization, Y-90 treatments, and vascular access procedures
Collaborate with IR techs and physicians in a fast-paced Level I trauma environment
Ensure seamless patient handoffs and deliver outstanding care across outpatient and critical care populations

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
PALS certification preferred
Level I trauma experience strongly preferred
Pre-op, PACU, or ICU background with IR experience welcomed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for complex IR patients
Comfort managing vents and tele patients
Familiarity with Cerner EMR
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Flexibility to cover occasional weekends and holidays
