Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with evening, weekend, and holiday call required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure smooth, safe operations in our four OR suites
Prepare patients and operating rooms for procedures including robot-assisted and GI cases
Monitor patient status throughout procedures and respond quickly during on-call situations
Support a positive, team-focused environment while floating within Zone 4 when needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact license
Current BLS certification
Previous OR nursing experience preferred
Robot and GI experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of Epic EMR documentation
Comfortable with robot-assisted and laparoscopic procedures
Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes
