Location: Garden City, Kansas

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM with 24/7 call coverage including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and oversee both Cath Lab and ICU departments with passion and purpose
Build a positive, supportive culture that empowers nursing staff
Provide bedside procedure support and moderate sedation during cases
Enhance nursing competency through mentorship and hands-on leadership
Coordinate pre-procedure, recovery, and hold care for optimal patient outcomes
Float as a helping hand to support other departments when needed
Monitor and manage vasoactive drips and critical care medications
Read and interpret telemetry strips to ensure patient safety

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
Minimum 3 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in clinical leadership
1 year of management experience preferred
Current ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CRRT competency
Strong critical care and telemetry background
Fluoro license experience a plus for technical staff oversight

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care and telemetry expertise
Vasoactive drip management
Moderate sedation administration
Cardiac, vascular, EP, and IR procedures
Building team culture and enhancing nursing competency
Self-scheduling and flexible call coordination
