Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care that promotes comfort and enhances residents' quality of life
Lead and mentor Resident Assistants with coaching, training, and education on proper nursing techniques
Follow each resident's individualized plan of care to deliver safe, professional support
Administer medications accurately and on time while maintaining strong assessment skills
Uphold safety standards and infection control practices to create a secure environment for everyone
Champion the Choices Philosophy of Care by treating every resident with dignity and respect

Qualifications

Active Alaska LPN licensure required
Current American Heart Association BLSP (CPR) certification required
At least 1 year of long-term care nursing experience preferred
New graduates welcome with an 8-12 month preceptorship at Heritage Place

Education

Associate's degree in nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and clinical leadership abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to safety, integrity, and compassionate care
Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
