Location: Grand Island, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 night per week on call and every 5th or 6th weekend on call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert circulating and patient care across all surgical service lines
Collaborate closely with surgeons and the OR team to ensure smooth procedures
Support pre/post-op and PACU areas when needed and trained
Respond to ER trauma cases with confidence and skill
Educate and mentor fellow team members while sharing best practices
Maintain flexibility to adapt to a varied daily surgical schedule

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong experience in Neurosurgery and all major surgical service lines
Comfortable working in a fast-paced OR without specialized teams
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a 90 percent score
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with EPIC electronic medical records
Skilled in Neurosurgery, ENT, Orthopedic, GYN, General Surgery, and Davinci Robotics
Experience in Pre/Post-op, PACU, and ER Trauma settings
Strong teamwork and communication abilities
Flexible and adaptable to changing surgical needs
