Location: Baudette, Minnesota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every 3rd weekend and 3rd holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across both MedSurg and ER units, adapting quickly to patient needs
Titrate critical medications and manage complex drips including insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, and levophed
Respond swiftly to codes and traumas, delivering life-saving interventions when every second counts
Admit, discharge, and transfer patients while maintaining clear communication with the care team
Perform EKGs, start IVs, and manage PICC/Ports with confidence and precision
Float between departments to support the entire facility and ensure seamless patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license with ER experience required
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
Comfortable working independently with minimal staffing
Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
Ability to read and document telemetry strips

Knowledge & Skills

Titrate medications and manage critical drips
Start IVs and work confidently with PICC/Ports
Respond to codes and trauma situations
Perform EKGs and interpret telemetry strips
Navigate Meditech EMR documentation
Float between MedSurg and ER with ease
