Location: Pendleton, Oregon

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with trades allowed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units
Independently manage patient care in all areas with strong clinical skills
Titrate and monitor critical drips including Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe deliveries and positive outcomes
Float and serve as a helping hand across units when needed
Support mothers and newborns through every stage of the birthing journey

Qualifications

Active Oregon nursing license or ability to obtain the 90-day emergency license
BLS and NRP certifications required
Strong experience in L&D, Postpartum, Routine Nursery, and Intermediate Nursery
Ability to work independently and confidently in all areas of care
Comfortable floating and adapting to changing unit needs

Knowledge & Skills

L&D, Postpartum, Routine Nursery, and Intermediate Nursery expertise
Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Titration of Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate drips
Central monitoring systems and EFM technology
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
