Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver hands-on physical therapy across both inpatient and outpatient settings
Treat a diverse caseload including ortho injuries, neuro conditions, wound care, and general debility
Collaborate with PTAs and rehab techs to provide seamless patient care
Precept students or new staff when the opportunity arises
Document treatment sessions and communicate progress with the interdisciplinary team
Support patients through recovery from fractures, sports injuries, and post-amputation rehab

Qualifications

Current Texas state and national PT license
BLS certification required
Wound care experience is a plus but not mandatory
Comfortable working in both inpatient and outpatient environments
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in treating general ortho, neuro, wound care, and debility patients
Able to manage a 7-treatment-hour daily caseload
Familiar with critical access hospital workflows
Ready to adapt to a variety of patient diagnoses and settings
